With this redesign, I wanted to make Psychology Now feel less like a textbook and more like a conversation. Something that feels approachable, thoughtful, and visually engaging. The goal was to reflect the complexity of the human mind without overwhelming the reader—using clean layouts, expressive visuals, and typography that guides rather than shouts. It’s a magazine that invites you to pause, reflect, and connect.

CHALLENGES-
The design leaned heavily on visual storytelling—but there was always a risk of going too far visually, which could compromise the reading experience. Finding a balance between expressive layouts and typographic clarity required multiple iterations.
Establishing a typographic system that felt contemporary, clean, and thematic while supporting long-form readability took time. You had to explore multiple font combinations to find something that fit the tone and flow of psychological writing.
